What is the Occupational Safety Card webinar?
The Occupational Safety Centre's Occupational Safety Card has been developed to improve occupational safety. The aim of the course is to try to reduce accidents at work and dangerous situations by providing basic information on occupational safety and health and to arouse interest and motivation in the workplace in the occupational safety skills of our own personnel.
You can take the course as a live webinar every weekday from 8 am to 4 pm. You need a computer with a camera and a microphone to attend the course.
The Occupational Safety Centre's Occupational Safety Card is issued after successful completion of the final test. The card is valid for five years, after which it is renewed every 5 years. The Occupational Safety Centre's Occupational Safety Card is personal.
Who needs the Occupational Safety Card webinar?
The Occupational Safety Card is intended especially for professionals in the construction, industrial and transport sectors, as well as for people visiting construction sites. The course is also useful for people in many other professions to increase occupational safety skills.
What does the Occupational Safety Card webinar include?
Occupational Safety Card webinar includes high-quality course material and at the end of the day, there is an exam with multiple-choice questions. An approved exam enables the passing of Occupational Safety Card training. Exam questions vary.

The course objectives
The person who has completed occupational safety card training knows the roles and responsibilities of the actors in the common workplace, can identify workplace hazards and harmful load factors and can adopt workplace- and task-specific orientation at their workplace.
The duration of occupational safety card training is 8 hours. The training is held as a live webinar every weekday from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm. Please be on time.
Occupational Safety Card final test
At the end of the training, a final test is arranged. There are always randomly selected questions in the exam. The exam consists of approximately 20 right / wrong questions and in addition there are about 10 verbal questions.
To pass the occupational safety card exam, you must get a minimum of 80% of the maximum score. If you do not pass the test, it is possible to renew it twice. After this, if the exam is not passed, the entire training must be repeated. After an approved exam, the physical card will be posted for you.
Instructions for attending the Occupational Safety Card distance learning
Please read the instructions below carefully when registering for Occupational Safety Card Training.
You need a camera and a microphone
You can complete the training on either a computer or a tablet.
Each performer must register separately and complete training on their own computer.
Course material will be distributed to participants in advance electronically.
The final test is organised as an online test during the training day.
After passing the exam, you will receive a temporary course certificate and later an Occupational Safety Card mailed to the address you provided.
A link and instructions for joining the webinar will be sent to your email before the training begins.

The training is currently only available in Finnish. The participant must have a good understanding of the Finnish language to understand the content of the training and be able to pass the final exam. It is not possible to participate in the training with an interpreter.

All classroom trainings are replaced by webinars.
